Korean Folk Village Night: Moonlit Magic Unveiled

The Korean Folk Village will upgrade its nighttime admission starting April 19, 2025, offering visitors an enchanting escape from everyday life under the cool glow of the moonlight.

The event, running until November 9, 2025, transforms the folk village into a magical setting where the romantic spirit of the Joseon era comes alive.

Throughout the extended season, guests can wander the village’s traditional streets and alleys under LED-lit skies.

A highlight of the program is the special performance “Yeonbun” – an innovative fusion of media art and traditional Korean storytelling that vividly portrays the love stories of men and women in the Joseon dynasty.

In addition to this grand performance, several interactive and immersive experiences have been planned to engage visitors after dark.

Among the featured attractions are themed photo zones set throughout the village for capturing picturesque nightscapes, as well as special contents such as “Gwigung: Hyeol Ansikgwi” and “Gwigung: Salgwiok,” which invite visitors to experience elements of indigenous thrills and mystery.

Another intriguing program, “Joseon Murder Investigation,” offers a unique twist on traditional storytelling, merging suspense with folk heritage.

The upgraded nighttime schedule is designed to provide not only an opportunity to experience the rich history of the Joseon era but also to immerse guests in a festive atmosphere filled with cultural performances and interactive experiences.

With extended operating hours from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., the Korean Folk Village promises a diverse range of activities for families, couples, and cultural enthusiasts.
