From Classical to K-POP: Seoripul Festival 2024 Has It All
2024 Seoripul Festival will take place from September 28 to 29 along Banpo-daero in Seocho-gu, Seoul.
The Seoripul Festival is a renowned urban music festival, first held in 2015, and has since become a signature event for Seocho-gu, attracting approximately one million visitors annually.
For two days, the 10-lane road will be closed to traffic, offering a variety of performances and interactive experiences, creating a unique cultural experience for citizens.
This year’s main programs on September 28 include “The Largest Sketchbook,” the “Seoripul Choir Festival,” and the “Seoripul Music Concert,” which features performances ranging from classical music to K-pop. On September 29, visitors can enjoy “Good Morning Yoga,”
the “Seoripul Junior Concert” showcasing young musical talents, and the grand finale with the “Seoripul Music Concert & Fireworks Show.”
Additionally, the festival will feature diverse side programs such as “Seoripul Music Live,” which spans various genres including traditional Korean music, classical, jazz, and popera.
There will also be the “Seoripul Art Salon,” where visitors can explore and purchase handmade artwork, as well as various interactive booths for families and children.
During the festival, Banpo-daero will be transformed into a pedestrian-only street, and visitors are encouraged to use public transportation.
