Yeoju Ceramic Festival Celebrates a Millennium of Craftsmanship
2025 Yeoju Ceramic Festival offers art, tradition, and festivity
The city of Yeoju is currently hosting the 37th Yeoju Ceramic Festival from May 1 to May 11, 2025, at the Silleuksa Tourist Site in Cheonsong-dong.

With the slogan “Enjoy Spring, My Love—Yeo River Shimmers,” the festival highlights the thousand-year legacy of Yeoju ceramics, one of Korea’s most celebrated cultural heritages.
This year’s event features a wide array of programs designed to offer visitors immersive experiences.
Among the signature attractions are the Traditional Ceramic Craft Performance and the Wood-Fired Kiln Experience, both showcasing the artistry and heritage of Yeoju pottery.
Visitors can also enjoy the Yeoju Ceramic Promotion Pavilion, Story in a Teacup workshops, and Moon Jar Wish-Making activities.
The Youth Ceramic Street invites younger artists to present their work and engage with the public.
Complementing the ceramic displays are cultural performances, including a Water Multimedia Drone Show and a Bridge Concert, adding a festive atmosphere along the scenic Yeogang River.
Organized by the Yeoju City Government, the Yeoju Sejong Cultural Tourism Foundation, and the Yeoju Ceramic Cooperative Association, the festival is free of charge and welcomes visitors of all ages to explore the beauty and tradition of Korean ceramics.
