2024 Goyang Food and beer Festival: Citizens and Local Businesses Celebrate Together

The 2024 Goyang Food & Beer Festival is currently taking place from August 24 to September 1 in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do.

Now in its fifth year, this festival is a comprehensive event where citizens and local businesses come together to enjoy a resident-centered and locally connected celebration, providing Goyang residents with a time of comfort and healing.

The Goyang Food & Beer Festival represents a new paradigm of festival culture as proposed by Goyang City, emphasizing safety while promoting local coexistence, resident participation, and the establishment of a tourism-oriented festival platform.

The event features a variety of programs, such as a music festival, food festival, beer festival, experience festival, and several competitions.

Highlights of the festival include the music festival with busking, dance team performances, and DJ EDM shows, as well as various competitions such as the national university cheerleading contest, the B-boying festival, and a healing song contest.

The festival is held at La Festa Cultural Street and the outdoor lawn plaza at Bella Citta in Ilsandong-gu, with all events free to attend.

Organized by the Goyang City Tourism Association, along with La Festa and Bella Citta, this festival is expected to contribute to the revitalization of the local economy and enhance cultural opportunities for residents.
